This was made up of £IBO 19s ad, being rebates received from the Taranaki Producers’ Freezing Works Company for 1917-1918, and also £339, Os 7d which is charged against the pass year’s working account in accordance with a resolution passed at the last annual meeting. Your directors recommend that tho sum of '£246 13s, being Jd per lb. of butter-fat. be also set aside out of tha surplus account and placed to the credit of Sinking Fund A'o. 1. Owing to a quantity of the 1917-1918 make having to be stored in tho hall near the factory, there was a considerable loss in weight upon shipment, <ua compared with tactory weights. The remaining surplus for that season now stands at £765 2s (3-5 d nor lb,), and this will bo paid out to suppliers for, that season, as soon as certain repayments of storage charges are received from tho Imperial Supplies Department. The services of Mr. Gunderson aai manager, and Mr. Pcreival as, secretary, have been retained for the current year. Under Article 9a all tha directors retire from office and all are cdigiblc for re-election, except Mr. Jones, who has left the district. You will be called upon to appoint ati auditor and to fix his remuneration.
