A furious fight followed, a number being killed and wounded on both sides. Reinforcements repulsed the JugoSlavs, who were commanded by Serbian officers. LONDON. July 27. Romo messages state that Signor Nitti. addressing the Senate, said that Italy was unable to face the coming year without foreign credits amounting to 400 million sterling, for the purchase of raw material. Italy’s credit in Britain was about to cease, and the United States’ obligation ends on August 31. The latter has forbidden even private credits until the political situation in Italy was cleared up.
