The Government has decided against the nationalisation of the mines, and is working out a scheme on tho lines of the Duckliam report. The Government is distributing £IOO,OOO weekly amongst textile and steel workers rendered idle through the trike. The Daily Mail understands that tho i'orkshire strike is practically settled, nit there will he no resumption of vork before tho week end. The Mersey strfke is settled; tho nen’s claims were generally conceded.
