MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. Her Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, July 30. At a meeting of tho management committee of ti.e New Zealand Cricket Council to-night it was decided to recommend to the council jhat an invitation be extended to the South Australian Association to send a team to Now Zealand next season, and, in the event of South Australia, being unable to send a team, that the council be authorised to communicate with the Australian Association with a view to sending an Australian team to Now Zealand. It was agreed to recommend tho Otago Cricket Association to endeavour to arrange a visit of a team to”play a North Otago eleven at Oamaru during •tho forthcoming season, with a view to stimulating interest in cricket there
