POSITION IN AUCKLAND, Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 29. The coal position iij Auckland remains serious. Alany large business concerns are working on short supplies, and householders’ deliveries arc strictly limited. The gas company is working on a “hand to mouth” basis, and prior to the arrival of the Waipori from Newcastle this week its supply of coal was almost exhausted. On the other hand, the. tramways arc well stocked with coal.
