TUKAPA CLUB
The following will represent Tukapa in the senior match against Inglewood at Western Park to-morrow, at 2.45 p.ni. sharplTiar, A. Oliver, Boswell, H. Oliver, Lawson, R. Oliver, Cameron, Hurley, Cocker, Johnston. John, Braeburn, O’Grady, Early, Kirk. Considerable interest is being evinced in local football circles regarding the protest lodged by the Tukapa Club in connection with the senior match against Stratford last week. It is understood that the matter will be considered at a Rugby Union meeting to be held at Eltbam to-morrow. Tukapa have protested on the grounds that Stratford included in their team tho Carlson Bros, who have played for Eltha in in all matches this season, and have not been transferred. Tukapa also allege that a member of a senior team cannot bo transferred to another team in tho .same, competition after the first found lias been completed. As Tukapa consider the playing of these men was a deliberate “ring in,” particularly after Stratford had been warned, they have claimed the match. The Eltbam Club are repoted to be also taking action in the matter in view of their game against Stratford at Elthara to-morrow. The Tukapa Club have received official information that the Carlson Bros, .wocc bona fide residents of the Eltbam Club district up till at least the beginning of July.
