At Addington mamet there were large entries of tat' sueep and fat cattle, and moderate entries in other departments* Ihe market was firmer for all classes of sheep. Fat lambs made equal to 9d. per lb over alll, and .jn some cases more. Medium and light fat sheep were also firmer. The yarding of fat cattle was not only one of the largest, but one of the best lor quality since last spring. It included a number of station lines. The •ale was about on a par with last week as far as prices were concerned. There was a decided improvement in demand for store sheep, and all classes advanced in price. There was a small and Jtoor entry of store cattle, and a large yarding of dairy cows was of moderate Quality. Fat pigs sold well . Store sheep.— itwe hoggets, 18s fid to 28s; two and four-tooth ewes 23s fid; lour and six-tooth ewes, 28s; soundOiouth ewes, 17s 2d l to 26s 4d; other hoggets, 15s 9d to 26s lOd; two-tooth wethers, 18s 3d to 25s lOd; four-tooth Wethers, 21s to 25s 3d; ewe lambs, 24s lOd; other lambs, 16s to 17s 9d; mixed lex lambs, 11s to 20s. Fat sheep.—Extra prime wethers, to 68s: prime wethers, 36s to 45s fid; medium wethers, 31s to 35s fid; lighter wethers, 27s to 30s fid; merino wethers, 80s 3d; extra prime ewes, 60s; prime ewes, 35s to 40s; medium ewes, 87s 6d to 345; lighter ewes, 20s to 275. Fat cattle.—Extra prime steers, £26 10s.; prime steers, £l4 10s to £2l; ordinary steers, £8 10s to £l4 ss; extra prime heifers, to £ls 2s fid; prime heifers, £lO to £l4 2s fid; ordinary heifers, £6 15s to £9 7s fid; prime cows, £lO 5s to £l6; ordinary cows, £6 15s to £9 los.
