VICTORIA COLLEGE.

GOOD WAR RECORD. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, JUNE 19. At tho capping ceremony of Victoria College to-night, General Richardson referred to tho college’s fine record of war service. Tho college had sent 037 students on service, and of these 108 had lost their lives. Soldiers from tho college had gained one C.M.G., one D.0.M., five D.S.O.’s, 19 M.C.’s, throe M.M.’s, and one foreign decoration. Tho college had the honour of having on its staff a man who had located more German guns and supplied more information to the Intelligence Deportment than probably any other man in Wellington.
