ASSAULT ON A POLICEMAN. Per Prese Association. WANGANUI, June 20. Two young men, Victor and Roy Smith, were changed at the Magistrate’s Court this morning with having caused actual bodily harm to Sergeant Jes. Reid while in the execution of his duty. Both were remanded for a week, bail being allowed. Sergeant Redd is still suffering from tho effects of the injuries he received.
