LATE SHIPPING.
UNION COMPANY BOATS. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, June 18. It was rumoured that the Wahine would return to New Zealand next month. The Union Company announce that this is incorrect as the vessel is still refitting at Dumbarton and the date of her departure from Britain is not known. The Makura i's still held up at Vancouver owing to the strikes. The ship has not discharged her New Zealand cargo. ABBXYED. Tarakohe, June 18.—Karu (3.45), from New Plymouth. Onchunga, June 18.—-Rarawa (8.45 a.m.), from Now Plymouth. THE WHAKATANE. The local agents advise that the Whakatn-nc is due to arrive here the middle of next week. THE POHEBUA. The Pohcrua. which was due from Greymouth to-day, had not put in an appearance up till this afternoon. She had a head wind to contend against.
