WINTER SHOW. At last we have done something to show the public a little of our work. We regret that tho Inglewood work did not come to hand, it is so goftd that its absence is a misfortune for us. The bridges were very good Tlie chicken-brooder was good enough to find a buyer. "Well done, St. Mary’s! The books illustrating tho Naturalist Badge were very good and reflect great credit on Nurse Taylor, who will be remembered as scoutraistress of the Uremit Troop .some time ago. The bindings were quito a fine illustration of leather work. The illustrations for Gardener's Badge were helped by our old friend of Tarurutangi, Mr. Smith Longstaff; wo intend to use the parsnips and carrots for seed purposes. Several other pieces of wprk showed a good deal of merit. Altogether the stand brought credit to the New Plymouth scouts. MAPS FOR PATHFINDER BADGE. Those worodent by Colonel Cossgrove in order that New Plymouth boys may see what scouts do in other places, the Waverley and Hamilton ones being good. It is to be hoped that scouts will use their time for the rest of tho winter in preparing work for tho next winter show.

Scouts will regret to hear that Scoutmaster Scott is ill, and will hope for his speedy recovery. Scoutmaster Dyson is also still an invalid in the Stratford Hospital.
