LADIES’ CHAMPIONSHIPS. Entries for the ladies’ championships, senior and junior, close on Friday, 20th, with the captain, Mrs. Walker. Entrance foo; Seniors Is 6d; junior's, Is. In conjunction with the championship, limit players will play hole competition, entrance fee Is, closing on Friday 20th. Saturday players to start from No. 9 tee. '
A match was played with the Hawera Club at the Patea links on Saturday last under very favourable weather conditions. The game ended in a draw, each side scoring Si points. Owing to the unavoidable absence of a member of the Patea team, Miss T. Gibson kindly consented to play. The following were the results;— HAWERA PATEA , O’Oallaghan 0 v. Pulley 1. Elliott 1 v.
