WINTER SHOW.

CHILDREN’S DAT The attendance at the Winter Show on Friday was again very satisfactory. There was a large crowd of children present during the afternoon, and "in the evening, when the Citizens’ Band played another good programme of music, the buildings were well filled with people. There are a few additional awards. In the cat section Mrs. E. G. Johnson was awarded first prize for a very fine sandy Persian kitten. D, Murphy won first in the Pekin cockerel classes, G. Wigley second and Noel Way third. In Yorkshire yellow ticked canaries F. Goodacre was first and third and S. Brooks second. “ The show will conclude this evening.
