A glance thruo’gh the catalogue of the pedigree Jerseys to be sold by Mr. Newton King at Bell Block on Friday, June 13, shows that the vendors, Messrs. J. H. Street and S. W. Shaw, have some particularly high class stock in the list. Mr. Street’s cows are practically all in calf to that fine bull “K .See 7th,”. a son of ‘the old champion dairy sire K. and liis stock, also to he offered the same day show a lot of quality. The vendor has been amongst flic Jerseys all his life and regrets in this’ instance that he is compelled to dispose of the line, hut his farm is small, and it is therefore compulsory for him to reduce, and in order to give everybody a fair and square deal has decided to dispose of tire whole herd without reserve. . Mr. Stanley Shaw & hue is small hut the quality is absolutely right. Catalogues giving full particulars are available from the auctioneer.
