LATE SHIPPING.
THE TOFUA. TOUCHES A SANDBANK. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, May 29. The Tofua, when coming up the Victoria Channel at low tide, touched a sandbank near Sawyer’s Bay, causing delay. The vessel is not expected to' reach Dunedin till after 1 p.m. The men for north of Dunedin will leave by special train. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ' ARRIVED. M-anukau Heads, May 29 Earn (4.30 a.m.), from New Plymouth. Greyroouth, May 29.—Kaiapoi (12.30) from New Plymouth. SAILED. Auckland, May 29.—Tutaneki (11.15 a.m.), for Rarotonga.
