The current bill at The People’s presents dimpled Dorothy Dalton in a teeming mystery play, “The Kaiser’s Shadow.” It is a Thos. H. Lace production, and is filled with mystery, thrills and suspense, a good story which grips one’s interest from the start. A fine Mack Sennott comedy, “Her Blighted Love,” the latest Gazette, and Bray Pictograph are also on the bill.
“WHO IS THE GUILTY MAN.” SATURDAY AND MONDAY. A Thos. H. Ince “special” production, “The Guilty Man,” will be presented for two nights only, Saturday and Monday.- This is a photoplay of lofty inspiration and noble impulse that, sledgehammer-like, attacks those snug hypocrites who would forgive man and condemn woman. “The Woman God Forgot” commences its local season -of two nights on Tuesday next, June 3. The box plan opens at Hoffmann’s on Saturday. Prices are: Circle Is 6d, stalls Is (plug tax). EVERYBODY’S. LAST NIGHT OF “ALIAS MARY BROWN.” He sets out to get even with three men who had ruined his father, and in doing so he met with some thrilling adventures, and a pretty girl. This is the theme of the Triangle .drama, “Alias Mary Brown,” showing for the last time at Everybody’s to-night. The fourth episode of “The House of Hate” also shows on this programme. JUNE ELVIDGE TO-MORROW. There will be a complete change tomorrow when the chief picture will he “The Woman of Redemption,” starring Juno Elvidge. This is an exciting story of outdoor life amidst tiro mountains and screens to-morrow night only.
