Hr. Bates’ forecast for the 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day is as follows: Indications are for southerly moderate to strong winds, with westerly tendency. Weather probably cool and changeable, with scattered showers. The night will probably be very cold with frosts inland. Barometer has a rising tendency. Seas rough; tides good swell.
