WEEKLY PRESS CHALLENGE SHIELDS. NORTH ISLAND SHIELD WON BY NEW PLYMOUTH. The contest for the handsome Weekly Press Cadot Marksmen’s Shield for the''North Island, for 1918-19, has been completed, the winners being No. 24 Company Cadets (New Plymouth High School), with an average score of 65.7. The competition has been considerably delayed owing to the influenza, epidemic. In the present competition, fifteen teams took part, and the success of the New Plymouth Cadets adds ono more to tho number of victories they harm had with the rifle during the last year or two. The scores are as follows: Cadet L. Abbott 65 Cadet M. Barak 67 Cadet E. Pearce 65 Cadet E. Waters 65 Cadet P. Wills 67 Cadet S. Jackson 66 Cadet B. Hair 67 Cadet S. Herbert 65 Cadet. R.
