Owing to the State Government appointing a Coal Commission tho proprietors have decided not to proceed to the ratification of the. agreement readied at tho Melbourne Conference, although tho Miners’ Federation accepted them. FEDERAL PREMIER ACTS. (Received April 23, 10.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, April 23. Mr. Watt has called a new conference of coal proprietors.
