Calves improved on last week’s figures. Runners sold from £5 17s 6d to £7 2s 6d; heavy vealers, £4 10s to £5 15s; medium, £3 10s to £4 6s; light, £2 to £3 ss; small and' fresh-dropped, 8s to £1 10s. Best heavy prime woolly wethers, £2 4s to £2 7s; lighter woolly, £1 17s 9d to £2 3s; best heavy shorn wethers, £1 16s to £1 18s 6d; medium to heavy prime, £1 14s 6d to £1 15s 9d; others, £1 12s to £1 14s 3d; unfinished, £1 7s to £1 11s 6d; medium to heavy shorn ewes, £1 8s to £1 10s; others, £1 5s to £1 7s 6d; unfinished, £1 3s to £1 4s 9d; good wolly hoggets, £1 16s to £1 17 s. Lambs were entered in full numbers, and sold' well up to last week’s prices, best heavy selling from £1 6s to £1 9s; good fat lambs, £1 3s to £1 5s 6d; others, 16s to £1 2s 6d. Kgs cam© forward in increased numbers and improved on, last week’s prices. Choppers and heavy baconers, £5 10s to £7; large porkers, £3 10s to £s' ss; medium, £2 10s to,£3 7s 6d; small, £2 to £2 7s 6d; weaners, £1 to £1 10s.
