MEETING OF CAUCUS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. Nov, 28. A meeting of members of the Liberal Party now in A ellington was held this morning, at which all were present or accounted for, except two. Sir Joseph Ward presided. The following resolutions were passed unanimously;— That this meeting of the Liberal Party desires to express its unabated confidence in Sir Joseph Ward as leader of the Liberal Party, and wishes to assure him of its continued loyalty and support. That this meeting is of opinion that Sir Joseph Ward should accept the invitation to represent New Zealand with Mr. Massey at the. meetings of the British War Cabinet and sittings of the Peace Conference. That it is the opinion of this meeting that the agreement entered into between the two parties at the formation of the National Government should be loyally adhered to until after the return of the leaders from the Peace Conference. The party also resolved that its individual members should give their assistance in helping to put tho'inecessary legislation through Parliament, and to do what they reasonably could to expedite the despatch of business' .while at the same time discussing any matters of importance that they considered necessary. Sir Joseph Ward stated that it was a good meeting of the party, and satisfactory in every way.
