Mr. Newman (treasurer) was also unable to be present owing to illness. At a subsequent meeting of the Irish Committee tho chairman expressed his thanks to the members of the various committees and especially to Miss Macarthy (secretary) and Mr. Healy (treasurer) for their help which had resulted in a sum which had exceeded all their expectations.
