For Auckland and north per train, daily at G. 15 a.m. For Auckland and north per s.s. Rarawa, Wednesday and Saturday at 10 a.m. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21. For Australian States. South Africa, Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits’ Settlements, Pago Pago, Samoa and Honolulu (per s.s. Riverina from Wellington) at 6.15 a.m. Money orders, registered letters and parcels, also parcels post, close ono hour before the ordinary mail. The public are earnestly requested to register all letters containing money or valuabl.-s intended to bo sent by post. Note.—Letters usually superscribed “via Suez” should now be superscribed “For first direct steamer.” Correspondence for all neutral countries is subject to censorship C. H. BURTON, Chief Postmaster.
