Mr. Bates’ forecast for the 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day is as follows; Indications are for easterly moderate to strong winds. Weather probably cool and -changeable. The night will probably bo very cold with frosts inland. Barometer lias a rising tendency, seas and tides moderate.
