The Budget affected the Stock Exchange to a very small extent, exccpu that 4 per cent, tax free war bonds rose to lOlf, following on the Chancellor or the Exchequer raising the issue price to 101 J, owing to the increased income distillery, and confectionery shares were practically unaltered. AUSTRALIAN RABBITS. SOLD TO BRITAIN. (Received April 25, 8.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 25. The British Government has contracted for half a million crates of New South Wales rabbits.
