NOMINATIONS TO-DAY. FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 8. Nominations for the Southern -Maori seat closed to-day. They are: Teonc Matapuka Erahana, Henare Parata, and John Hopere Wharewiti Uru. A statement was made by Sir James Carroll that Parata was the Government candidate. Hori Tataki Topi was nominated, but withdrew in Parata’s favour., Sir James Carroll stays in the South Island till after the election. '
