Rabbit dealers are excited over the announcement that tho Imperial authorities cabled that they were unablo to purchase this season's surplus, although the reoent negotiations led the packers to believe the British Government were willing to take 20,000 tons at last season's rates. (There are still 17,000 crates under the old contract unshipped. The Federal authorities are now approaching' the United States, and will endeavour to place this season's surplus thetje.
