Mi\ L. Webber, who for some time has resided in New Plymouth, leaves by the Rarawa for Auckland, to-night and later goes into camp’. During his stay in. New Plymouth Mr. Webber lias been prominent in local musical circles, possessing a good voice and also being a clever violinist, and on Monday evening a number of his friends gave him a farewell at Mrs. C. C. Ward’s seaside residence at Ngamotu beach. A delightful evening was spent, the music and dancing being thoroughly enjoyed. During an interval the company drank Mr. Webber’s and joined in wishing him the best of good luck and a speedy and safe return.
