Tho secretary was instructed to secure information as to tho number of Alexandra school hooks held in stock by the booksellers of tho province, and also the number likely to arrive hero before tho end of tho year. A return is to ho prepared by the secretary of tho teachers liable to he called in the Second Division, giving the age, number in family, and present position of each teacher. A motion of thanks was passed to Air. AA r . T. Jennings, ALP., for his efforts with regard to metalling the road to tho Awakino school site.
