raou ocn own correspondent. The 3Sth anniversary of St. John’s Church takes place next Sunday, when special services will be held in that building. The offertory solo will be sung in the 0%-ening by Miss Marlow. The annual tea takes place on July 5, when an excellent programme is promised for the concert that follows on. Mr. Cudby has put up a good record for the poultry at the Palmerston Show. Ho had six entries and has obtained sixprizes—l special, 2 firsts, 2 seconds, and a third. Miss Turlon was the demonstrator at the class on fruit pruning yesterday in Mr. Wcre’.s garden. Those present were .greatly interested. The next demonstration is to be given in Dr. Campbell’s garden.
