The Senate debated the Pood Control Bill. Its supporters declared that it was tho only way to prevent shipments of food to Germany through, neutrals. SUFFRAGETTE PICKETS. CHARGED BY A MOB. Incensed at the suffrage pickets flaunting denunciatory banners before the White House gates when the Russian Commission was entering to greet President Wilson, an angry mob charged the women and tore their banners .to shreds. One banner contained the motto: “Wilson and Root are deceiving Russia. The women of America tell you that America is not a democracy as twenty million women are denied the yoto.” TYPEWRITER FACTORIES. NOW MAKING BATTLEPLANE • PARTS.
