JAPANESE SINK A SUBMARINE. WASHINGTON, June 21. The Japanese Admiralty has announced the destruction of the submarine which last week torpedoed the Sasaki. DUTCH STEAMER ATTACKED. LONDON, June 22. The Dutch steamer Emdigh, which sailed from Boston, is reported to hare been sunk. M - ITALIAN SUBMARINE LOSSES. NOT VERY HEAVY. (Received June 22, 11.40 a.m.) ROME, June 21. A semi-official message reveals that for the week ended on Juno 17 the arrivals were 606 and the departures 631, not including fishing boats and coasters. Two steamers and five sailers were sunk. Two steamers escaped attack. SUBMARINE CAMPAIGN. POSITION NOT IMPROVED. LONDON, June 21. The Admiralty report on the submarine campaign during the week gives the following figures, those of the; previous week’s report being also given;— This Last week. week. This ; gives the following average losses per; week;—February 38.7, March 22.5,. April 38.2, May 28.7, June 27.3.
