PUKEKURA PARK BOARD.

MONTH LY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Pukeknra Park Hoard was hold on Tuesday evening. Pre.scnt • Messrs. S. Percy Smith (chairman), R. Cock, It. C. Hughes, Harris Ford, A. Newman, 0. E. Smith) reported that part of the work during the month consisted of cJeaning and preparing ground tor planking with native trees near the .John Street entrance. They intended to proceed with the planting'this week. Since the Kith the work had been chiefly that of mowing and cleaning. During tlie present fine weather they proposed to continue the raising and retorming ol the broad clay walk at the new entranro. They had removed the small drainage pipes ami replaced them with six and nine-inch pipes to allow of free drainage.
