The Hon. -Mr. Myers gives the following particulars to date relating to the Working Miners Phthisis Act; — Eighty claims for pensions have been received, including two from widows. Of these, 69 have been granted and 10 are on hand awaiting completion of the necessary inquiries. One applicant has died. Tho total annual value of the pensions is £3215. We draw our readers’ attention to the particulars in this issue of tho sale to be hold next Tuesday morning on account of Mr. G. W. Hartnell, at tho corner of Oover and Leech Streets. The list of articles to bo offered is a Jong one, and includes tho section, buildings, and numerous useful articles, and should prove particularly interesting to builders, contractors and the farming commrjntj.
