ANOTHER GERMAN DEVICE. “THE DEVIL’S WALL.” (Received Dec. 10, 8.5 a.m.) PETROGRAD, Dec. 9, The Germans have some novel inventions for attack, including the so-called “devil’s wall,” consisting of a steel barrier breast high and a dozen yards long on wheels, equipped with chipping, hacking and sawing appliances worked by mechanical arms.
