BAKER BROS.’ NEW CIRCUS.

This circus will open on Saturday and Mondav at New Plymouth on the old tennis ‘court, Devon Street West. Ills uemonstration on the ono-mouth drain-pip© phone, an instrument of his own invention, was a treat for the cars, there were also sonio clover imitations on Jus various instruments. Next earn© two charming voting ladies, tho human aeroplanes, in ‘a wonderful dental act in mid-air by La Bello Gertie, assisted by Barhanmi. Carlo Cnrnillaria. tho Belgian hoy, also gave a fine acrobatic act. the main feature of tiie programme was tho Globo of Death, a huge steel cage. Miss and Master Staig ride round on ordinary bicvclcs, doing some wonderful feats. Then Mks Staig, mounted on a motorcycle rode round and round the globe. Tho climax was readied when Master Staig, mounted on an Indian motorcycle, completely looped tho loop insido tho globe, not once, but fully a dozen times. Tho act is without doubt tbo most thrilling anil sensational ever presented to tho public.
