WOUNDED SOLDIERS’ FUND

INTERESTING ENTERTAINMENT TO-MORROW. A glance at the very excellent programme (published in our advertising columns) arranged by the pupils of the Convent School, to ho given in the Theatre Royal to-morrow (Thursday) afternoon at 3 o’clock, will bo sufficient to ensure a bumper house to aid a very worthy object. The tuition at the Convent is so well known that it is not necessary to emphasise the fact that a musical treat is in store for patrons. The innovation of scheduling the entertainment for the afternoon will no doubt bo appreciated, particularly by parents and ladies generally, to whom an appeal is made to second the efforts of the performers by swelling the door receipts. A number of guessing competitions will bo drawn during the afi/rnoon under the supervision of his Worship the Mayer.
