WOODVILLE RAGES. FIRST DAY. PEP. PRESS ASSOCIATION. WOODVILLE, Dec. S. Tho summer meeting of the Wootlvillo Jockey Club commenced to-day in lino weather, although a high wind was blowing. A complete set of new buildings were opened for tho first time and were greatly appreciated by the genera! public. Results: — Maiden Plato. —Maraetotara 1, Carlatour 2, Marsinah 3. Scratched: Tamo, Surtax, Morry Andrew, Battle Tide, Tipao, Maryland, Hinoraoana, Munition, Gold Tainting, Bjorneborg, Tinkler, Altercation and Mustagrcon. Won very easily by a length. Time, linin. 20sec. Hack Hurdles.—lmposter 1, Eexer 2, Kauwairoa 3. Scratched: Negative and La Motto. Imposter got away with the load and romped home an easy winner. Time, 3min. 28sec. MARION SUMMER MEETING. SATURDAY AND MONDAY, JANUARY X and 3, 1916.
