’ WATERSIDE WORKERS. FEB PUES3 ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, Dee. Z. A conference of representatives -of the waterside workers’ unions of New Zealand is now sitting under the presidency of Mr. L. Glover. Hie first question on the order paper was the advisability of the formation of 'a Waterside Workers’ Federation. After discussion it was decided to reconstruct the old arbitration federation, which was in existence for some years. A circular was drafted for issue to the shipp.ng companies and other employers of waterside labour, asking for a conference to discuss future wages and working conditions. ,
