HOBART, Dec. 7. In the Assembly a Bill was passed authorising freedom on the question as to .what hour between six and ten shall be adopted in the early closing referendum, to be taken at the elections in February.' REPATRIATED SAMOANS. (Received Deo. 7, 9.6 a.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 7. A party of Samoans, repatriated from Saipan, sail by the Atua for Samoa to-day. HOTEL AUSTRALIA FIRE. SYDNEY, Deo. 6. About fifty rooms were burned out in the Hotel Australia. The damage is covered by insurance.
