British Sub-Liontonaut Viney and the French Lieutenant Desincay describe tho destruction of a submarine on November 29. They were cruising at a height of ten thousand feet and sighted two submarines five miles from tho coast. Tho sea was shallow and they were unable to dive. One hurried off and zig-zagged in its flight. Tile aviators descended to 650 feet and’ attacked the other, which answered its helm less readily. They dropped the' first bomb effectually, and damaged the deck. Tho second bomb broke her in halves, and she sank. The ever-widen-ing sheet of oil on the water told ail they wanted to know. Viney gets the Victoria Cross, and Desincay tho Legion of Honour - . THE CREW OF THE MIDDLETON. (Received Deo. 6, 8 a.m.) , . MALTA, Dec. 5. ■ Four of tho Middleton’s crew wore killed.
