RIFLE SHOOTIHG.
NEW PLYMOUTH v. INGLEWOOD. A team of ten men from the New Plymouth Rifle tilub journeyed t 6 Inglewood on Thursday and fired a match against the local club, who were defeated by 18 points. Rifleman Oliver, with the fine score of 97, including a possible at 500 yards, was the highest individual marksman. The visitors were hospitably treated by the local team, and were entertained to tea alter the match. Detailed scores;— NEW PLYMOUTH.
The following will represent tho New Plymouth Defence Ribe Club iu a . match to be fired against tho High School Cadets to-morrow:—Riflemen L. Blanchett, Lysons, A. Goss, T. Jones. Palmer, Standish, Keating, Moore, 1 Firth and Ramson. The match will commence at 1.30 p.m.
