Subject to necessary alterations mails will close at the Chief Post Office as under:— For Auckland and North, per Rarawa, Tuesday and Friday, at 7 p.rn., and daily, per train, at (I.ln a.m. For Wellington and South, daily, at 6.15 a.m. and 12.20 p.m. For Wanganui and intermediate offices, daily, at 6.15 a.m., 12.20 and 3.55 p.m. MONDAY, DECEMBER 6. For Australian States and South Africa, at 6.15 a.m. N.B.—lf ails sent via Suez are subject to heavy delay, and under ordinary circumstances arrive in London later than mads dispatched from New Zealand hr the next Vancouver or Sau Francisco steamer. Only specially addressed correspondence is now sent vl;i,_Suez. the times for closing inailb"'tor places beyond the Dominion aro liable to alteration (earlier or later).
