'ine Chairman explained that the meeting had been culled tor the purpose oi arranging matters m connection with the forthcoming annual tournament to be held m January next, and also to elect trustees and a secretary and treasurer for the Taranaki Bowlers’ Wounded Soldiers’ Fund. Un the mo/k»n of Mr. Smart, seconded by Mr, Sole, it was decided that the tournament be held as already arranged at the annual meeting, on January zo, 26, 27 and 28, and tnat circulars be issued to the various clubs throughout the North island. It was decided that the tournament be held on the three town greens, that I entries close on Tuesday, uonuory 11, I 11)16, and that the entrance ree be £2 t per rink. V It was decided to donate tb© net profits of the tournament to tho Bowlers’ Wounded* Soldiers’ Fund. Messrs. A, • iL Smart, J. D. Sole, 5. Smith, and the secretary to be a sub-committee to arange drawings, draw up programme and to generally arrange details in connection with the tournament. The matter of club colours was then gone into. At the present time there ’ are instances of duplication of colours m the Centre, and it is now proposed to ■ have this remedied. It was decided to notify all clubs that under the Dominion Association’s rules no tapes may be used for marking out rinks, and this must bo discontinued for the future. The Auroa Bowling Club applied for affiliation to the Centre. —The application was granted. Messrs. \Y. A. Parkinson, M. Fraser and J. D. Sole were appointed trustees of the Taranaki Bowlers’ Wounded Soldiers’ Fund, and Mr. 0. N. Firth secretary and treasurer. It was arranged that the Champion Singles Tournament be played in the last week in March, date and green to be fixed at a later date, Mr. Parkin-

son, the president, very hdndly offered to donate a trophy for the Champion Singles Tournament.
