Subject to necessary alterations mails will close at tho Chief Post Office ns under:— For Auckland and North, .per Rnrnwa, Tuesday and Friday, at 7 p.m., and daily, per train, at 6.15 a.m. For Wellington and South, daily, at 615 a.m and 12 20 p in. For Wanganui and intermediate offices, daily, at 6.15 a.m., 12.20 and 3.55 p.m. MONDAY. DECEMBER 6. For Australian States and South Africa, at 6.15 a.m. N.B. —Nf ails sent via Suez arc subject to heavy delay, and under ordinary circumstances arrive in London later than mads dispatched from Now Zealand by tho next Vancouver or San Francisco steamer. Only specially addressed correspondence is now sent via Suez. 'I he times for closing mails for places bovond the Dominion are liable to alteration (earlier or later*.
