MON ASTIR DESERTED.
HOSTILE FORCES ADVANCING. (Received Dec. 1, 8.30 a.ra.) SALONIKA, Nov. 30. The civil authorities abandoned Monastic on Saturday. It .is reported that i the Avvstro-Germans from Mitrovitza have joined up with tho Bulgarians, and are now advancing on Monastic where only gendarmes and three army officers remain. The Serbians are retreating iu good order. News from Sofia states that tho assembling (ji Turkish troops iu Thrace is viewed askance. Various frontier incidents are already reported between the Bulgnrs and Turks. (Received Dec. 1. 8.30 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, Nov. 30. Tho Serbians retreating to Monastic encountered enormous difficulties, efiictly from tho committajis (irregular Bulgarian forces).
