AT THREATENED RUSSIAN ADVANCE. ——————— ( SERBIANS STILL DRIVEN BACK. ] LORD KITCHENER’S VISIT TO ANZAC The increasing’ number of Russian troops on the Roumanian frontier is causing groat anxiety in Bulgaria, as it is evident that an advance through Roumania will shortly take place. V hether the Roumanians will join the Russians remains to bo seen. On the other side tho Turks are pushing into Thrace—of course to defend Bulgaria. The Turks also do not welcome the probable advent of more German troops at Constantinople. If the Allies can act with reasonable speed it seems likely that there will be a pretty kettle of fish in the Balkans. It seems almost certain that Monastir must fall, and doubtless the Allies are making all preparations to meet a flanking attack from that direction. Lord Kitchener lins Toadied Tjonclon again and Captain Dean foils of Ins hearty welcome at Anzac.
