Won by fifteen lengths. Time, 2min. 50sec. Spring Handicap.—Huamakaba 1, Midnight Star 2, Tangiwai 3. AH started.. Won by a length. Time, 2min. 9 l-osec.

Umutaoroa Hack—Sea Lord 1, Mvstifiod 2, Carillon 3. . Scratched; Sir Fisher, Admiral Beatty, Irish Fusilier, Jean Laddo, Cherry Blossom. Rougomau, Danger Signal and Royal Favourite. Won by half a length. Time, linin. 29isec. Dannevirke Steeplechase.—Glenmore 1, Bonny 2, Sportsman 3. Also started: Appin (who fell). Sportsman also fell, but was remounted by a spectator and secured third money. Glenmore led all through, and won comfortably by a length. Time, 6min. 14soc.
