The Rev. D. C. Bates’ forecast for the twenty-four hours from 9 a.m. to-day is as follows: —■ Variable and moderate breezes, but moderate to strong northerly winds prevailing. The night will probably be very cold, with frost, inland. Barometer little movement, but falling after about 24 hours. Tides poor, sea considerable; sea decreasing.
