ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Frankley Road Dairy Company, Ltd., was held on 'Monday afternoon. Mr. F. Baker (retiring chairman of directors) presided. The annual report congratulated the shareholders on the largely increased milk supply’ and the satisfactory basis on which the company was now established. The change from butter-making to cheeso-making at the beginning of last season was an opportune one, as shareholders thus obtained- the benefit of the high prices.ruling for cheese. The directors continued their policy of’consigning to Messrs, Collett, Whitefield and Co., Ltd. The factory has dealt with a total of 2.134,1101 b., the milk producing 85,7481 b. butter-fat, as against 58,0881 b. butter-fat last year; 199,6721 b. milk, containing 75331 b. but-ter-fat, were used for butter-making, producing 89141 b. butter, an over-run of 18.33 per cent,; 1,934,4431 b. milk for cheese-making producing 204,1311 b. cheese, an average of 9.4711). milk per lb. cheese, 2.61 b. cheese per lb. butter-fat, average tost 4 per cent. After writing TO per cent, depreciation off all buildings and plant amounting to £IBO os Id, the profit and loss account showed a credit balance of £299 12s 7d, which the directors recommended., be paid to suppliers by a bonus of 4-od per lb. of butter-fat supplied. Suppliers would then have received an average payment of 16 08d per lb. of butter-fat for cheese and 13.3 d per lb. for butter. The following shows quantities and averages as compared with previous years (1914 in parentheses)Number of suppliers (25), milk received 2,134,115 lb. (946,6191 b.), cream (63,0751 b.), but-ter-fat 85,7481 b. (58,0881 b.), butter 89141 b. (60,3001 b.), cheese 204,1811 b., over-run 18.33 per cent.. (.14 per cent.), average test 4 per cent. (3,95 per cent.), lb. milk per lb. cheese 9-47, lb. cheese per lb. butter-fat 2.6. The report was adopted. DIRECTORS. It was decided to increase the number of directors from five to seven. Messrs. J. Upson and P. Gilbert remained in office and the following additional directors wore elected: Messrs. L. Hill, R, Todd, A. C. Biuuie, F. Yates, and F. Baker. Mr. Upson was appointed chairman. GENERAL. Mr. IV. M. Falconer was re-appointed auditor. - The chairman and the manager were each voted an honorarium of £lO.
